Hi! This is Mark Gray from the DoubleVision Conditioning Centre. In today’s video, I’m going to give you what we believe at the DoubleVision Conditioning Centre is a healthy and good amount of fat loss or fat to lose.

What Is a Good Amount of Fat to Lose Each Month?

So, we often get asked this and we’ve talked about it a fair bit on the other podcasts and videos, but the question is, what is a good amount of weight or fat to lose each month?

Losing 4 Pounds a Month is Ideal

Now we obviously have seen hundreds of clients, and over this time, we really need to educate people on what is the healthy amount of fat to lose. Now in our experience, about four pounds a month maximum generally is very good per month. And that’s averaged out. So you can have people who lose 10 pounds a month, but averaging out kind of over a year, over six months, it kind of boils down to about four pounds a month, which is actually kind of between 0.7 and a pound of fat a week.

Fat Loss versus Weigh Loss
Okay? So that is fat. It’s not weight. It’s fat. On our scales we can tell how much fat you lose compared to actual weight. So be sure that you’re not just worried about complete weight. It’s all about the amount of fat you actually lose because that’s what makes you look and feel so much better and healthier.
