The Stop Point: It’s All in the Mind

I’m going to give you another tremendous character trait of people that achieve transformations. So, you will find, and I want you to ask this of yourself, that a lot of people have what is called their “stop point.” So they exercise for weeks, and then they stop. They lose weight for two months, and then they stop. And a lot of people have what they feel is programmed into their head, is simply when I stop. Now, obviously, this doesn’t have to be. It’s when they have let themselves stop and they kind of have made that into their own paradigm where they feel that they’re always going to be stopping at that point.

It’s Common to have a Stopping Point When Trying to Achieve Weight Loss

Now we encounter this a fair bit at our centers and we feel great achievement when we’ve managed to slightly alter some of those mindset. So they see more long term and they think of losing weight or lifestyle choices as their whole life progression. So, I want you to identify whether you actually feel you’ve got a stopping point – some time that you exercise or you eat well for a certain period of time, and then you stop because that’s just how you feel, that’s what you do – I stop at this point.

Change Your Mindset and Make it Long Term

Now people that achieve great transformations, they change their mindset and they make it far more long term and realize that weight loss isn’t overnight. It’s not a two week thing, unfortunately, like all the diets teach you. It is a lifetime thing and you’re going to have a much nicer, healthier, longer life if you change that viewpoint.

Be the Best You Can Be and Get in the Best Shape That You Can Your Whole Life

You don’t have a stop point. You’re simply trying to be the best that you can be every day and get in the best shape that you can and keep it for your whole life.
