Hi. This is Mark Gray from the DoubleVision Conditioning Center. In today’s video, I’m going to give you a quick tip that a lot of people probably don’t mention.

The Low Carb Diet
So, a lot of you are probably eating low carbohydrates or have been told to eat low carbohydrates. For most people it’s actually a very good way of losing body fat and being healthier.

Reduction in Carbohydrates Results in Decrease of Good Fats
But, what happens when people reduce carbohydrates is they don’t increase their fat. And their healthy fat is very, very important for fat loss, but also for general health. When you’re reducing your carbohydrates from things like pasta and those other processed foods, you do generally want to increase your good fat.

Foods with Good Fats
And that’s things from like coconut oil, avocado, macadamia nuts. All those really good, healthy foods that have good fats in them and it is good saturated fats. You want to increase these slightly so that you’re giving your body what it needs to produce the hormones that you need. So, when you’re reducing carbohydrates, you want to slightly increase your good fats from, like I say, avocado, good nuts such as macadamia and things like olive oil. Alright. I look forward to seeing you next time. Bye-bye.
