Do You Struggle With Consistency? Gihane Explains How She Has Finally Developed A Fitness Habit That Helps Her Feel Great!

Case Study, Nutrition, Weight loss

Greg: This is Greg from the DVCC; I am here with Gihane Kireh. I’m going to ask you a few questions Gihane, to get an insight into how you’ve got such great results.

Gihane_2

So Gihane, could you please introduce yourself, and how long you have been at the DVCC?

Gihane: My name is Gihane, I started in the DVCC at …

Greg: Since April, so a few months. And what have been some of the difficulties you have faced, as I’m sure there are many other people out there who are going through the same difficulties or are in the same position you were?

Gihane: The difficulty was if I’m going to make it, just if I can do it.

Greg: So if you can keep up with the training and the nutrition, that kind of thing?

Gihane: Yes.

Greg: So since you’ve been here, Gihane, what kind of results have you had?

Gihane: Good – for me – amazing results. I am quite happy.

Greg: So as well as *losing body fat, have you had other results, like improved confidence, that kind of thing?

Gihane: Yes, definitely. I’m definitely more confident now; yes, feeling good.

Greg: Good. Have you ever tried to *lose weight before?

Gihane: Yes – a lot of times!

Greg: How did that go before?

Gihane: Good – I used to *lose a lot of weight, but all the weight I would *lose would just come back on.

Greg: So you would *lose some weight and then go back to where you were before?

Gihane: Yes.

Greg: Previously, did you try a combination of exercise and nutrition, or was it just one or the other?

Gihane: Yes, actually nutrition with exercise.

Greg: Ok. What kind of exercise did you do before?

Gihane: Swimming and cycling.

Greg: So more like longer duration, low intensity stuff?

Gihane: Yes.

Greg: Did you try any specific diets before, or was it just a case of just to try and eat healthier?

Gihane: Just tried to eat more healthy and that’s it.

New Call-to-action

Greg: So no specific diets, not like Weight Watchers or anything like that?

Gihane: No specific ones, no.

Greg: Could you briefly explain how your lifestyle looks now, in comparison to before you joined the DVCC?

Gihane: I can say that I have changed all my nutrition from before.

Greg: More regular exercise as well?

Gihane: Yes, more regular exercise, and I feel more energetic. I am more happy and I think I am more strong as well.

Greg: Good – so you’ve built regular training and better nutrition into your lifestyle and as a result you’re feeling a lot more happier and more confident.

Gihane: Yes, definitely.

Gihane

Greg: Ok, good. So do you have any specific tips, either for nutrition or exercise, that you can share with anyone else who is trying to *lose weight; anything that you have found or stumbled upon, how you were trying to improve yourself that you could pass on to anyone else?

Gihane: Just don’t give up; keep doing what you’re doing. It takes time but it’s worth it.

Greg: And it is difficult sometimes, isn’t it? But you have to get through those hard parts.

Gihane: Yes.

Greg: What were some of the obstacles that would have prevented you from starting training with the DVCC or training altogether? So, previous to when you started with us, was there anything that prevented you from training? Was it just a case of not being motivated enough or did you have any injuries or anything like that?

Gihane: I had a knee injury, bit I think it was more about motivation.

Greg: Motivation – and maybe the enjoyment? Would you say you enjoy this training more than you have other training?

Gihane: Yes, definitely.

Greg: Ok, good. Did you find some previous training, like when you went swimming and stuff, did you find that a little bit boring, because it’s the same thing you’re doing over and over again, for a long time.

Gihane: Not boring, but I didn’t have anyone to help me or to guide me, to say “Ok, you need to do this” or “You need to do that”. The thing is I’m not doing the right things actually. When you’ve got someone like a personal trainer, I think you’re more able to do the right thing.

Greg: Yes, and you’re more confident that you’re doing the right thing.

Gihane: Yes.

Greg: So what would be 3 benefits you have had since you started training?

Gihane: I’ve become stronger, more energetic and more happy.

Greg: Stronger, energetic and happy are all good things.

Would you recommend the DVCC, and if so, why?

Gihane: Yes, definitely I would recommend the DVCC. Why? Because guys, you’re going to get results. What you want, I think you’re going to achieve your results.

Greg: Good. Anything else you would like to add – any final words?

Gihane: Yes – all I can say is just get in there guys.

Greg: Just get started?

Gihane: Yes.

Greg: Ok, thank you very much Gihane; I hope you found this interview helpful; I’d like to thank you for your time. Please comment below with any questions and we’ll get back to you. This is Greg from DVCC Milton Keynes; thank you for listening.
