"People don't think I’m as old as I am!" - Tony's Journey at The DVCC

Having a 6-year-old running about is quite the energy-demanding task, but nothing motivates Tony more!

He was ready to turn his time into something more positive. Tony wanted to be able to keep up with his son, prepare for his future and get involved in his childhood as much as possible!

In his own words: “I know I’m old enough to be his grandad, but I don’t want to appear to be his grandad!”

Ready for things to change, Tony found The DVCC and tried our 30 day trial…The rest is history!

Since joining The DVCC and thanks to the added motivation from his son, Tony has managed to lose over 25kg, had to completely change his wardrobe and has an all-new outlook on life!

“It’s like a family, that is the best way to say it really!”

What motivates you to take that extra step? 👨‍👦

“I'm fitter than I’ve ever been and you know, I'm heading towards 53!

My son, he motivates me immensely. He is an incredible child at 6 now. He always says: "You need a six pack like me Daddy!”

I'd gone through some turmoil in my personal life. I was sort of looking at myself as to: “Well what's wrong with me?” I thought maybe if I got fitter, I could expend some of the energy and direct that into something more positive.

I did trial for a month and that was it, I was hooked! There is spirit here and we’re all going through journeys. It's like a family, that's the best way to say it really!

I've dropped about 25kgs now, I had to buy a whole new wardrobe, which was actually quite exciting! People are looking at me like: "Wow! You've gone from this person who didn't really care about what he ate and what he did to somebody who looks amazing!”

People don't think I’m as old as I am!

I don't think anybody could not fit in. For me, I've got that motivation of a 6 year old, You know, I'm old enough to be his grandad! I don't want to appear to be his grandad!

I owe it to him, as well as myself, for his welfare and mine! Feel the fear and do it anyway! You've just got to do it!”
