THE FAD FITNESS TRENDS TO AVOID IN 2019!

Fitness fads come and go all the time (that's why they're fads!) we have all found ourselves jumping on bandwagons that promise quick and easy results... Often leaving us right back to square one...Again!

Don't worry though, here's what you need to watch out for if you're choosing a diet plan!

1: ANYTHING EXTREME

This is pretty straight forward and can apply to EVERY diet that you come across. Just ask yourself this question:

"Could I imagine doing this for the rest of my life?"

If the answer is NO, then then it is extreme and unsustainable!

Instead, imagine HOW you're going to sustain your results. It is far better to take a slower, more progressive approach than to rush a diet, lose a lot of weight, only to put it back on a month later once you return to older, more sustainable, eating habits.

2: CELEBRITY FITNESS PLANS

To expand on the point above, anything that promises quick and easy results, usually isn't the full story...

When you see celebs claiming they lost SO MUCH weight through this diet, 99% of the time, that isn't entirely the truth. It's important to remember that these people are usually being paid to promote a product or brand, so it's important to approach everything with some caution.

There's a lot of smoke and mirrors within the fitness world and it can be easy to get swept up in the hype, however if you stay patient and remember point 1, you'll be seeing SUSTAINABLE and REAL results in no time at all! 😁
