Say NO to weight loss plateaus!

Have you found yourself reaching a weight loss plateau and not knowing where to turn next? Perhaps no matter what you seem to do, the weight simply will not budge?

Here's what you can start doing RIGHT NOW to get back on track!

1) Track yourself

You shouldn't need to do this for more than a week at a time, but by tracking your progress, you'll be able to see if you've unconsciously been making any additional changes to your diet.

It can be easy to overlook a cheeky biscuit with your morning coffee, but by tracking your eating or drinking habits, you may find that they could be the culprits!

2) Resistance training and HIIT

If you're not incorporating resistance work and High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) into your workouts, you need to be!

By placing your body under resistance and putting it through short periods of high intensity, you'll be forcing it to adapt, pushing yourself further each time, meaning that overcoming your plateaus should be far more seamless.

3) Have patience!

It's important to remember that with everything in fitness, nothing is linear. Things don't happen overnight or at the same rates as each other. There will always be times where you think that your progress is coming to a halt because certain things slow down and adjust.

During these times, it's important to stay positive and motivated and you'll be able to look back on 2019 as being the year where you lost the weight for GOOD!
