“I was 160 kilos… Last week I checked and I’m now 120”

At the start of this year, Sourabh Ashley Massey (Sam), decided his life needed to change.

Initially weighing over 160kgs, Sam found himself easily out of breath, struggling to get around and miserable with his weight... But he was determined to see results. Through hard training, good nutrition and finding an environment he felt comfortable in, he is now well on his way to achieving his goals!

“My journey started at the start of this year, I was 160kgs and... quite wide. So I made a decision that I need to do something about it.

I had an accident in 2012, a bike accident, so when I joined I couldn't do lunges properly but Rachel, the guys and all the trainers that are there all of them, they worked hard with me and I can do lunges to a certain extent now.

There are no people looking at their biceps and showing off. Everybody is here to attain a certain goal and everybody's goals are different and that is recognised by the staff.

Last week I checked, I currently am at 120 my goal weight is around 90, I'm 6’3 so still a long way to go, but it's good to know you're on the right track.”
