“I’ve been training all year, just so I can do this!” Mary's Journey At The DVCC

When Mary hit her 50s, she began to notice that it became harder for her to lose weight. Despite already being an incredibly active person, she still wasn’t seeing the results that she really wanted.

She was also concerned with the fact that after we reach a certain point in our lives, without proper resistance based training, most adults lose 3% of their muscle strength every year.

…Mary didn’t want to lose her muscle!

Fast forward a year on, and Mary CERTAINLY hasn’t lost her muscle! In fact, she recently helped her mum move a tonne of furniture around her house…Whilst in the middle of single handedly shifting an entire wardrobe, she thought:

“I think I’ve been training all year, just so I can do this!”

Now Mary is training consistently and in an environment that suits her. Every time she walks through the door, her smile lights up a room. The support that both her and her fellow clients offer each other allows everyone to achieve their goals in a successful and encouraging environment.

“There is no criticism, no mirrors to look at, it’s just friendly people encouraging everyone else!”
