There really is nothing worse than an irritated back which causes discomfort and makes you struggle to get a decent night’s sleep. With so many of us having long office hours of extensive sitting, it's no  real surprise that your back is feeling the pressure!

Lucky for you though, if you are struggling with back pain, here are some quick and simple exercises that you can start doing for just 2 minutes every day to improve your mobility and let you get on with your shut-eye!

The first step is to form a daily habit of stretching and strengthening. By investing just 4 minutes of your day doing these exercises, you’ll be feeling the results in no time!

1) Focus on your hip flexors -

Tight hip flexors compress your lower back and can cause joint injury. Tightness in the hip flexors can weaken your glutes, resulting in overworked hamstrings and lower back muscles and ultimately, back pain!

2) Don’t forget about the glutes! -

Just mentioned above, it’s important to keep your glutes in tip-top condition to relieve some of the stress from your back. Exercises such as glute bridge holds are perfect for this!

By spending just 2 minutes on each exercise every day doing some of these exercises, you’ll be set for a good nights sleep ahead!
