Can you build muscle after 40?!

 

In short, YES you can! And no, this isn’t just for the men!

 

We find the question you more likely want the answer to is can I build a better physique? Having some muscle is a big part of this, of course. But you can do a lot to how you look by losing body fat too. This is what people often call ‘Muscle Tone’. 

 

By combining a foundation of muscle, with losing some of the body fat surrounding it you can make drastic changes to how you look. WITHOUT drastic measures!

 

It’s a balancing act. Good nutrition with effective workouts and you’ll be doing both simultaneously. The loss of fat helps extenuate the muscle you have already. If you’re smart in your training and nutrition, you can use both to your advantage and build a physique to be proud of well after 40!
