You never quite know what is around the corner, so it is important to take care of yourself and spend some time each week focusing on YOU.

After welcoming 3 wonderful grandkids to her family, Barbara felt ready to start focusing on herself again.

Just as any grandparent wants to, Barbara is determined to be as much a part of their lives as possible. She wanted them to be able to get the most out of her, to be able to get involved and play alongside them!

Now, she’s even giving them a run for their money!

"You don't know what is around the corner for us, so you have to look after yourself and make the most out of what you have got!

I have 3 wonderful grandchildren, little boys, twin grandsons and a little baby.I wanted to keep up with these energetic little boys,I wanted to get the most out of them, and them mean I knew I would have to get myself energised, and fit and healthy!

I have a senior card, and I hate that word senior.I think we ought to call it- it's a red wine card.As we mature, we get better!

It's a great crowd of people. At all ages, and nobody is judgemental about what you wear, what you don’t wear or what you look like.

I was embarrassed about coming for the first time because I'm older and I'm not 6 foot and long blonde hair and all the rest of it. You will be accepted by everybody.

You owe it to yourself, give it a go.”
