Are past injuries stopping you from living your life?

Most of us have some kind of niggle or pain that flares up every now and again. When it does, they can stop us from doing the things we want and prevent us from achieving our goals…

…Ash was in the same boat. After having a car accident, Ash now has 2 slipped discs. Which when they flare up, would send him back into past habits and undo all of his hard work.

BUT IT WAS TIME FOR THAT TO CHANGE.

After another flare up 3 months ago, Ash was ready to stop training again. Instead, we sat down with him, worked alongside his physiotherapist and helped create a personalised plan that SUITED HIM, allowing him to keep training and keep seeing results.

Not only that, but thanks to the caring and supportive community at The DVCC, everyone was with him every step of the way!

Isn’t it time to stop past injuries ruling your life?

“My wife actually said to me and I said "Oh look at this"and she said "That's right up your street, give it a go!"and a year later I’m still here.

My name is Ashru Patel, I've always had injuries, I've got two slipped disks I've had them for years from a car accident. Training on my own, bad form, I would injure myself,I had a reoccurrence of it about 3 months ago now and Greg (trainer) said, "Don't stop coming.”

He suggested a physio, we got the results and between my physio and Greg, they sorted out a plan and low and behold it has worked!

I've been surprised at the weight loss, I think I'm down about 8lbs in fat and I've put on another 3lbs in muscle!

It is like a big family, everyone knows everyone, everyone is friends with each other on Facebook. Even if I don't see people for months upon months, you'll see a picture of them, look how well they are doing you'll always make a comment. It's just nice, it’s very welcoming.

They've always got your best interests at heart so even if I come in and I'm in aches and pains, they'll make you train, but they will always work around any of the injuries you've got or anything like that, it's fantastic!

Regardless of whether it’s a trainer or it's someone else that is training with you, there is always someone there that is going to spur you on. And I ain't being funny, but they fixed me!”
