How many times have we all said that THIS IS THE YEAR! 'I can tell, this is it, it's going to be my year!' Only to then do a month's worth of heavy dieting, to then find we are back at square one and feeling deflated.

Don't worry, we've got your back, simply follow what we say below and 2019 really CAN be your year!

1) FOCUS ON YOURSELF

Whilst our friends are often a great place to turn to for advice, when it comes to weight loss and your own body, don't follow someone else. We're all different and it is important to remember that our bodies all respond differently to different things!

2) KEEP YOUR FOOD IN CHECK

When we say this, we're not talking about counting your calories, we believe that there should be a degree of freedom to what you eat and you shouldn't be worrying about counting every single calorie you consume. Instead, focus on the portion sizes.

Here's a simple, quick guide that you can follow without any real thought!

-A Palm of protein (2 for men, one for women)

- A Fist of vegetables

- A Thumb of fats

- A Fist of carbs

By sticking to those portion sizes as a general rule to follow, you'll be consuming all the right foods in the right quantities!

3) FOCUS ON THE HABITS

Habits achieve results. It's as simple as that. If you want to see results, you need to focus on the small daily habits that you are going to use to get there.

Even something as simple as following the palm rules in step 2 could become a habit!

Follow all of these tips and you'll find that 2019 will be the LAST time you have to lose weight!
